I have 2 modded xboxes for over 2 years. I installed the latest xbmc releases for the last 2 months. I got it to work just fine until I changed some setting with the media center. Then no matter which new release I put in I get NO text, I can't see my files, scripts anything with text to highlight and select. However it does show up just fine when I place the older version Project Mayhem II.
Project Mayhem III version is the one that does not work fine. It works fine in my other xbox.
This reminds me of when some changes NTSC to Pal by mistake and then u have use a boot disc a memorise the amount of clicks that it takes to return it to NTSC or vice versa, because it not readable when in the wrong setting.
Do I have to reformat my hdd?
Or how can I return that setting?
What I don't get is that I delete the entire version and try other new releases and still no text.
Should I reformat X,Y,Z on the xbox?
I appreciate any suggestions:)

if you can remember where your settings button is click that

then go to appearence

move right once

down 4 spots and click...wait till it reloads

the font file is on some different preset or something and the file isnt present

or you can just load up evox or another dash using a bootcd and wipe out your xbmc folder in e:\apps and upload the latest version wink.gif

be sure to update your .xbe file in e and c aswell.

Next time some things get screwed do this:

1: FTP in and delete the e:\tdata\0face008 folder

This deletes all settings and make XBMC use ALL default settings.

or

2: Delete the xbmc save game from the msdash. (result is the same as above)

or

3: Hold start + back down while booting XBMC. (Result is the same as above)
