Hi, I tried to Flash my Bios , Had EvoX 2.5 dash , dont remember what Bios.
Flashed my bios and now the xbox wont start up properly.
It start but no picture or I cant open the CDROM ... If I push the eject button the xbox only flashes (the led) and it wont open...

Looks Like A Bad Flash To Me. If It Is You Will Need A Programmer To Fix It.

You need to supply more detail here like what version box what bios you tried to flash. What chip etc.

Xbox V1.0 have evox2.5 , went in on flash bios on there and puseh one that i thought was the one i had in the cdrom, confirmed the flash, and the xbox rebooted after awhile(the pole had filled up) , I think i have the Xecuter chip, I havnt instaled it ... Havnt had no other problems with my xbox since this flash....
The reason I tried to flash was that i just installed Mediacenter and shared all my movies and music on my pc so I could play on the xbox... But I could enter ms dash , i dont know why, but found original bios (it said so)
Orignal Bios version 5838 taken from 1.6 box (US) with Xcalibur chips
Is that the reason why? that the bios was for a 1.6 ?

Yup You Can't Use A Bios From 1.6 In 1.0 The Only Way To Fix Is By Using A Prog.
