After not being on live for quite some time, I try to sign only to get Xbox Live Not found error constantly. I have called the xbox support team and of course they don't know how to fix it. It seems as though my xbox just can't connect anymore. Has anyone else had this problem, or knows how to fix it? I have even tried starting a new live account only to get the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if your internet is coming for your pc then boot your pc up in safe mode with networking and try. if not try different settings in MS dash also try a different game on live

Is your xbox the only device plugged into the modem? Also im assuming you've tried powercycling (unpluging the power and plugging it back in) the modem? If not try that.

It seems to me and the other mods that a new eeprom is the only way to fixing a 8A ERROR. However if you have been banned before you will also need a new hdd to go along with the virgin eeprom. If you are still getting the 8A error after all this let us know.

I got the exact same problem been bugging me for weeks. I got new eeprom and new hdd and trying to set up new account for live and it wont have it. I tried everything possible, my other xbox connects fine so I know it nothing to do with the connection its something else but what I dont know just yet.
Anyone solves the problem would be nice to know how
This is my issue EXACTLY! As well as my cousins. The only similarity is that we've both recently upgraded our HDs since we've been on Live. But I would think that if it was a banning issue that it would connect and say "Your banned"

If you upgraded your HD without changing EEPROM's then the can not connect to Xbox Live message is a pre-emptive ban. That message usually means your on the list of EEPROM's that MS is going to check out...eventually you will be banned I believe.
