My specs:

1.6b
original Hitachi DVD-ROM
original hard drive(to be replaced later)
duox2
evolutionx m8+-16 bios bank 1
xecuter flash 3.0.3 bios bank 2

My xbox boots successfully into the evolutionx dashboard.
The xbox will read dvd-r's from the xecuter flash-bios program, but NOT from the evolutionx m8+ bios:( I'm using the same Ritech 8x DVD-R's in each case. I use a 100MB dummy file and all of the correct Nero settings. What might be the problem?
Appreciate any help.
