I recently installed an X3Ce into my 1.6 box, and have had isses with it since the install. The chip was working at one point, and the X3_3108 v16 bios was flashed to it without a problem. I had to get the LPC rebuild on my box re-done, and now I am having an issue with the Xbox booting when the mod is enabled. The Xbox will turn on for a second then just turn off, no more reboots, or Fragging. The weird thing is, I am able to boot into Flashbios and flash the chip, as I tried flashing the X3_3283 v16 bios to see if that would fix the problem (it didn't.) I am also able to disable the chip and the Xbox will boot, I get an error 7, but thats because the retail HD isn't in it now. The chip is also getting power, and both blue LED's are on.

I was wondering if anyone has seen this problem before, and if so, what the cause of it was?

Thanks,
effowe

Check all of your solder points.... and if you want to get rid of the error 07, when you get it booting up again; lock your HDD.
