what if the place where you put the removable hard drive could be used for other expansions, such as, a blu-ray compatible drive. I think that would be a good idea because it would help compete with the playstation 3.

entirely possible... the slot on the side is a hotswapable type interface.. powered IDE.. no reason a different IDE interfaced design couldn't attach.

ide allows for MULTIPLE devices - designed properly they would daisy chain .

i dont think they will use it look at it from a technical standpoint all the dvd drive does is deliver content i mean it isnt really a high priority if you think about it even though i would buy it just to have the latest player

A usb2 device would be simpler. Daisy chaining might end up taking a lot of space smile.gif

CAn anyone tell off the top of their head the bw available in usb2 and wireless usb2.
