Yes, this is a noob question, but I'm a bit stuck. I'll list every step I take while editing and attempting to resign gametypes.

First, I open the said gametype I want to edit with Sav3r, and edit what I want. Then, I save the gametype. After that, I run XSavSig to *attempt* to sign the gametype. I have the following resign for Halo 2:

[4d530064]
Title=Halo 2
SigKey=** DO NOT POST THIS ON XS **
AuthKey=** DO NOT POST THIS ON XS **
DataFile=profile
SigOffset=-20
DataLen=-20

Note that I have made no changes to the xbhddkey file. That might be the problem but I don't know.

After that, I attempt to move the file into my Action Replay PC database to put on my memory card, but it says it is an 'invalid xbox save'. That's where I'm stuck.

So if anyone would be kind enough to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, since you can’t post the keys on X-S (they get filtered), I’ll have to assume you are using the correct values as found here: http://www.xbox-saves.com/forums/index.php...=3&t=1557&st=15

Also, you have to edit xbhddkey.ini, adding the proper HDDkey string for the hard drive you’re trying to use them on. Otherwise, there’s no point. You’re not signing them to anything. From the app’s readme:
QUOTE
* NOTE: In order to re-sign game saves which use "no-roam" signatures, you will need to update the "xbhddkey.ini" file with the hard drive key of the XBox you wish to use the game save on.
So there you go.. smile.gif
