Xbox360 Modding And Live And Couple Of Questions Options

hi, so of course there'll be xbox360 mods shortly after, but how will xbox live go along with a xbox360 mod? will you be able to play xbox360 games online with modded games?

and onto the next question, i presume the xbox360 will release at about £300 or close to it, say it is £300 how much would a premodded system most probably cost? (eg. about £60-70-80 more)

final question, has anyone bought pre modded xboxs over the internet, id like to purchase a premodded xbox360 over the net but then that is alot of money that will be getting handed over, and of course your dealing with pirates, so how many of you guys on here have bought pre modded consoles online(new) and what are the reliable stores? (english stores please (£))

How the Hell are we supposed to know the answers to your question.
Mod coming shortly after the release, get real.
Do you think xbox chips have been around since release? No they haven't.
You have to get smart people to crack the console then people to invest in the prototyping of chips then someone to sell and produce the chips.

This can take months if not years. Almost everyone here knows how to use a chip but only a handful of them know how a chip works down to such detail that they can make one from scratch let alone design or discover a way to make one for an entirely new console.

My opinion is that it will be even harder this time around to get online with modded boxes, even with the mod disabled.
I am not sure how long it will take for mod chips to be created, there is an interesting dynamic this time around. Here is a reasonable set of assumptions about modding the x360:

1. The mod companies have a larger amount of money and technical expertise to devote to modding as compared to the xbox.
2. There will be fewer reasons for modding this time around because many features are already present in the x360.
3. The x360 will be harder to mod than the xbox.
4. Live is a more important component in the x360 than it was in the xbox, making it less desirable to not have this feature.

True, the only thing i can think why you would mod an xbox this time around is to pritae games, and slap them on a hdd/dvd but lets get serious. just how many games are fun.. and i mean real fun Offline? .. ok fun . till u spend a few hours and finish it.. waisted money. ( online is the new online )

how much ms get them in the x360 without a screwdriver, dont think theyd use a hammer

There either will be someway of opening this thing (maybe special torx screws like they had on the first box) or it will be sealed completely shut and MS will supply a brand new one provided yours hasnt been tampered with or modded (if and when that becomes available).

There's no reason to mod the Xbox unless you can't afford the games.
