wow It fixed it. that Idea bout jumping it with a wire on that fuse fixed. it. I swaer my meater was telling me I was getting a connection and it was all good. but It must not have been a strong nough connection or somthing. so try a wire jump if you are getting auido but no video with the standard cord. but all other cords work (svideo/HD pack /VGA thoe all worked for me)

Note the 3 blue components above the video chip and under the AV port? The orange/brown one to the right of them is what was toast on mine. Similar on all versions of Xboxes.

Yep thats the part I jumped with a wire it works now. my fan didn't work so I grabed a new one off a 1.6 boar I toasted. (mine is an old 1.0) So anyway I after I put that part on my fan worked but still had a video issue. so I jumped that part with a wire. that tells me that you must get the correct amount of current thru that part. I'm not sure about the size on thae fuse but you probley would do better to go larger on that peice or just jump it like I did. I runs fine for me. I ran that unit for 4 hours after I jumped it. I ran out pepsi to keep me awake much longer. I do have to work every day so my time can be limited.

Thanks
