alright, for those of you that don't know, xbox-scene has a channel on efnet (try to guess the name... hint, its not #xbox). anywho, you should really check it out if you aren't already there, syrus added this bot that is pretty damn smart, and fun to talk to if you are bored ~~ just an fyi =p

those talking bots are quite nice sometimes, but some have "bugs" i mean you can get it to say fucked-up stuff sometimes biggrin.gif

i was on that www.alicebot.org page, and searched a irc version of this, but there was only one implementation for IRC 8as it seems) J-Alice. But this stupid piece of Software doesn't connect to ANY irc network..

which software do you use exactly?
a link would be nice!

Alice.tcl is made to run with eggdrop. You wont be able to load it into mirc or anything. So in order to run it you'll need an eggdrop (http://www.eggheads.org). If you want a better download link, go to Egghelp.org and then click the tcl section and search for alice smile.gif

Yeah, you need the new version of it smile.gif Once it starts working its quite cool, it begins to learn different things. Say "What do you know about me" (i think thats it) and it'll give you a summary of things like job, name, favourite colour etc. smile.gif
