ok ive read a few things about running certain media on gamecube but no real solid info. so i made a list of questions i need answers to since this is the only place that seems to answer them in a timely manner :lol

1.) Any website with good info about running emulators on gamecube?

2.) Can you play dvd's on a modded gamecube with full size casing?

3.) I play PSO on my gamecube. if i flash the OEM bios with one for my qoob chip will it erase any of the case sensitive things such as my serial number and access key information?

4.) ive read some crap about people diddling with the laser eye for the dvd rom. what does this do and is it useful?

i'll answer what I can

1) www.maxconsole.com forums

2) No

3) Not sure what you're asking cause Ive never played PSO, but the qoob doesn't affect your gamecube bios, it just boots in place of it. you can disable it

4) the reason that people tweak the POT on their laser is because some cubes have problems reading burns. IMO, if you have an NEC 3500 or higher dvd burner and use Ritek G04 mini-dvd, you won't have any issues. I've run them on 6 cubes so far without any DRE's.
