The LEDs don't light for the ethernet port. I am guessing this was due to a surge from a recent storm. My 4 port router has only 3 ports working since the storm. The port that doesn't work had the xbox connected. I can only keep the router working by attaching an ethernet cable to the faulty router port. I have a good ethernet cable and I used a good port on my router but the router port and the xbox ethernet ports fail to light up. I can achieve a network connection with two PCs with the router but not the xbox. The rest of the hardware in the xbox works fine. What components are involved with the port and how can I troubleshoot this problem?
