I downloaded this skin from xbox-skins.net. I like it except when you go into the system settings or the hard drive section the tabs are green... Is there anyway I can change them to match the tabs on the main screen?? Thanks alot...

You are going to have to create a new outline.xbx Go grab fast_xbx2dds2img. Create a new image to your liking with the dimensions 512x64 in whatever ur favorite photo manipulation app is(photoshop, jasc paint, gimp...etc,etc). Use fast_xbx to convert the image into an xbx. Place the new outline.xbx in the skin folder and happiness you will have. smile.gif You could also take the easy way out and check out a couple other skins. They might have an outline.xbx in there to your liking.

Ok I got the system menu the color I want except one thing. How do I change it to when the selector is moved over the tab the text turns black like the main menu (see the 2nd pic above). Right now it stays white and is hard to read...

the values are standard RGB (red, green, blue, alpha). So for example brightest green would be Color= 0, 255, 0, 255. Use yr image editing app to find the most suitable value. There are also plenty of colour pickers on the web.

Ok I got it figured it out I had to edit "[Material #133]" to get the highlited text on the system menu to be black.

um, yeh sry bout the bad advice there biggrin.gif ^ for some reason i saw the settings menu and thought mainmenu. rest assured im doing my best to have all dash type either Navtype or Hitledtype for next release - whether it makes it in is another story. though it would be a great mod for the code section in the meantime... wink.gif
