Reset Modchip In Game For Xboxlive, is the chip on or off? Options

I can't reset my xbox with the eject button once i loaded a game of the HD with the modchip on(Aladdin advance 64). I can boot with chip on or off by hitting or holding the power button so evox or msdash shows. but i want to turn off the modchip once the game has loaded from the HD in evox so i can play on live. i have the X2 4983.67 BIOS. I read in my evox.ini that to rest in game (IGR) i need to hold R + L trigger and START + BACK. This reset to the evox dash but without the xbox boot screen. Does this disable the modchip or not???

you must boot with modchip disabled in order to go on Live

that emans you cant go on Live with a game loaded off the HD (or any backup)

just use your original disc

i was under the impression by the scene tutorial "How to play on Xbox Live with a flashable modded Xbox" that i could play a game from the HD or at least a dvd backup on LIVE:

So, you are now at your EvolutionX dash or MS dash with the modchip on. You will then run a game (an original or a backup) or even a homebrewed program, and when the game is running, press the big eject button. Your Xbox will reboot and the original BIOS will load. The normal green Xbox logo will show and this means the modchip is off. Also, the modchip will now show the red LED.

Even so i still can't reset my box with the eject button, and if i do R+L trigger and START + BACK the red light does not show.

You have any idea why. is it a command in the evox.ini or bios?

that quote sounds liek its taking about the matrix modchip, which was disabled by hitting the eject button after booting

when it reset it completely reset, loading the retail bios, and took you to the MS dash, so any backup in the dvd drive wouldnt run and any game laoded off teh HD would be unloaded
