What version xbox do you have ?

If you have a V1.0 - V1.5 then it might be easier to solder it in. Or atleast screw the chip down and solder the D0 wire.

If you have a V1.6 then i guess keep going becuase it won't be any easier.

I know you got a solderless chip so you wouldn't have to solder but when a leg falls off then you have to solder it back on !
