Ok. I just recently softmodded my box with krayzie's recent MA gamesave hack. But I have a problem loading my games on my box. It takes like a few minutes for it to actually load. Like I try playing halo 2, nothing modded but the box, and it takes long to load the multiplayer maps. Even when I try to resume my game, it takes forever to load. Please hit me up on this. I want to know what's the cause of this. Thanks in advance!

I got some feedback from a friend who's xbox was softmodded by me.

He loaded it up with heaps of mp3s and then tried to play some games , He said that the xbox slowed right down - He removed a half of the mp3s and it works fine now.

Do you have a heap of mp3s on your HDD ?

Is it a stock HDD?

If you have a heap of mp3s/videos on your factory HDD try removing them ( assuming that you have them backed up on a disc ) and then try loading the games....

Also try clearing your E:/cache folder. and also your X:/ Y:/ and Z:/ ....

Hope it helps..

P.s Thought Id add that "clearing" means deleting the files contained inside the folders - and not deleting the folders themselves!.

You can delete the cache folder just fine. It gets recreated automatically.

It might be just bad dvd media you are running the game from or even a strange (vga) video cable can cause that.
