1.4 Box With Smartxx V2 Chip... Help?, Need some basic help Options

Hi all
I have a 1.4 board with the solderless adaptor and my mod chip is starting up fine.

I have a couple of issues, I am not sure exactly where to go or what to do once I start up my smartxx bios. Last night I was able to copy my old hdd 1:1 to my new drive, but I need to know what else i need to do before I can start adding games to the hdd. I dont seem to have the option to lock unlock the 120gb drive.

Could anyone give me a hand with where I need to go next with this?

Hi there, you need to upload a bios (EVOX M8) to one of the chip many bios banks using network or from a cd. then load the new bios and intall an auto installer (SLAYERS AUTO INSTALLER 2.6 or AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE). then you can copy games to your xbox HDD using DVD2XBOX or if you download them use QWIX to upload them to your xbox by FTP. Now about the hard drive you will have to check up your hard drive make and model http://xboxdrives.x-pec.com/?p=list to see if it is a lockable hard drive. if you get stuck just ask.

Don't waste your time with the slayer disc. Update the SmartXX OS, then lock the hdd. And make sure that the hdd is in primary or else it won't lock under the SmartXX OS.

oh, btw, some hdd can't be locked.

I already said that some cant be locked. Prick! But also he needs a evox bios to load any game using the chip and he will need a hacked dashboard and with him not know very much slayers is the best and easiest thing he can do.

How do I get the update for the smartxx os into the xbox?

Actually, I guess I just need to find the EVOX M8 bios. I cant seem to "find" it anywhere...
Any suggestions?

1st to update the smartxx os bios set up a IP address in the config e.g. 192.168.0.101, then go to your pc and connect it to your xbox via a crossover or a hub/switch and go into your favourite web browser and type http://192.168.0.101. then click flashbios and select any bank because it will reconised that it is a chip update and wont flash any banks (to get the update downlad this http://www.smartxx.com/download/update/update_3345.zip and unzip it.) and about evox m8 bios read this http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php and then go into xbox, then bios and its in there somewhere and to get that onto the xbox just do the same as with the update but this time make sure its a 256 bank when this is done the start up screen will say unkown/free for the bios so you will have to rename it in config if you want it to say something else. after this if you load the bios there will be the normal MS startup but after that will be a black screen. so you will also have to download the slayers intall cd. now you have to learn how to use a program called bittorrent found here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/bittorr...e_mirror=puzzle download this. now you need to go back on xbins from above to get the file start the download its under xbox, then somewhere in there is a folder called auto installers. and you need to get the files called something like this SLAYERS AUTO INSTALLER 2.6.TORRENT after you have this file on your computer run it after you have installed the bittorrent program and it will ask you for a save destination just put it on the desktop esay to find that way. now after you did all that contact me again and I will give you more instructions. have fun

what do you do after that? burn the ISO and boot it?

After that you have to unpack the file but reading all the text during it otherwise you wont find out the password and then you can just burn the iso to cd.
