Alright, I set up an FTP from my comp to my Xbox. Some problems at the beginning but I got it running anyway. In a pretty strange way that is...
In the system configuration (I use Evox) I messed with the FTP password (I know, I'm an ass). Now in order for the FTP to work, I set it to nothing. FlashFXP can connect to it and it's all fine. However, I can't get C-Xbox or Craxtion to connect to it. With C-Xbox I get a connection timeout and with Craxtion I can't even try to connect because you HAVE to fill in a password in order to connect.
Alright so I try to set the password back to its old state. But, I notice I can only type in caps using Evox. So I tried editing the evox.ini file through FlashFXP. I set the password to ''xbox'' in lowercase like it should be. I save the file, but it in Evox the password is still set to nothing. Which is pretty weird. I tried this a few times and it just won't work. The evox.ini file says the password is ''xbox'' but in Evox it keeps saying it's nothing. When I edit the password in Evox it does get applied but I can only type in caps there. I tried connecting to the Xbox after I changed the pass in the evox.ini file but it won't connect then. Is there a way to get the original ''xbox'' password applied again in lowercase?
I didn't see this in any FAQ about FTPing so I'm asking here.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I already posted this in the newbie chat once before but I only got one reply and within notime my thread was on the 4th page -.-
