Trying To Setup Xmbc To See Pc Drives, Followed guide, now wants password? Options

I'm trying to setup file sharing (smb?) so I can access my PC drives from my xbox. I followed the guide here:

and it seemed to work well at first. I run XBMC, goto my videos, goto network my pc, there's all my drives! I select the C drive and there are all my directories, great. I try to change to the movies directory, XBMC asks me for a username/password.

Huh? I'm using easy share method from the above guide, as I can't do the secure share with XP Home anyway. I dunno what username/password it wants or how to set it. I found a thread here that made me think maybe I should be using the user/pw that I login to xp with... well I tried my username with no password (as I have none, my pc logs in automatically) but no luck.

Still can't figure it out. However I shared the movies directory directly from my pc and added another xbmc bookmark for it, and sure enough it works and I can play the movies that are on my computer hd. I ran the "scan" which took a while and it made icons for my movies. (btw, how do I correct the ones it got wrong?)

Anyway, I still get asked for a password when I try to change into movies (or other directories) from c thru the mysharedfolders bookmark created according tot he guide.
