Ok here's the problem. My xbox wont connect using FlashFXP. Now im totally lost as to what to do.

I am running WinXP, I have a D-Link DI604 router, and a version 1 xbox.

Now i know the ethernet on the xbox works as i used it for xbox live right before xbox live screwed up my M$ Dashboard.

WHen i plug my ethernet cable into the back of the xbox, and i go to my setting under my router address, it shows that it isn't even connected (cable test), is this some type of conflict with xenium and d-link?

Also i tried hooking the pc and xbox via ethernet cable and using the ip settings as in the tutorial but still nothing, not even showing up as connected.

Can anyone help me out with this? I am sooooo close to having this up and running i can taste it .

Go to network settings in the Xeniu os.. be sure the IP address is set to DCHP and that the FTP server is on. Then shut off the xbox and plug it into your router. Repower on, go back to network settings, and check the ip address your router assigned the xbox. Use that to connect.

BTW, it wouldn't connect when you tried a direct connection to your PC because you are using a regular ethernet patch cable and not a crossover cable wink.gif
