1) what do i do with the x box hd? I know i hve to back it up but how? 2)Is it difficult to install the hd? 3)Is it difficult to install the chip? 4)What mode do i want to leave the chip in? 5)Do I have to convert the .bin file of the games i want to put on my xbox to a certin file type? 6)Do I use the bios that come with evox that say ejection fix or the other one? all help is much appreciated. |

1. you can leave it as it is or you can replace it with a bigger one up to 120GB
2. nope, check te tutorials 3. you ordered a matrix so it should be easy *ahum* 4. mode 3, check the tutorials 5. .bin files are usually bios-es for the modchip, not games 6. depends on what you want, my advise is Evox for the Dashboard en Xecuter II for the BIOS |

? Do you have any idea how long it take for the matrix to arrive? He should be an xbox god by the time it arrives! Danny, once you have your chip installed install Evox onto the hard drive along with xboxplorer or xbcopy. Then all you have to do is copy the content of the disk to the e: or f: drive. There is no need to worry about formatting. P.S the matrix is a bitch to install on a v1.1 or v1.2 (for a n00b anyway) I have done it several times, if you need any help PM me. Always happy to help. |
