Does anyone know if it's possible to put bots in offline multiplayer? I know this has been asked many times but it's never answered seriously.

I think it would be great to fight lots of bots in maps such as blood gulch, no matter how stupid the AI is. I've heard that it is indeed possible but now that halomods' files and forums are down it is very hard to find something about it. So maybe anyone can help me find it, or give some info about how the bots spawn for example.

they have tried it with halo 1, and they had it to the point where the bots would at least run somewhere. mostly into a wall.

Well if they can run and shoot at you that's enough, do you know where to get this mod?

And do you know if that mod lets the xbox 'think' that those bots are actual players or are they just replaced with objects in the map or something?

oh, they dont shoot. they just run around. mostly into walls. no i dont know where to get them, i havent tried it in a while becuase it is stupid.


and i dont think they are going to try on halo2.

I don't think that we really need bots in Halo or Halo 2. Playing with bots is retarded. (MY OPINION)

what the hell are you guys talking about???

Ive personally played with a bot mod on blood gulch where they were excellent snipers and some had assault rifles and a couple even had shotguns...
YES THERE ARE ACTUALLY DECENT BOT MODS, but its been a looong time since I played em. They may be still over at halo mods but you would have to look for yourself.
