i've never gotten around to doing stuff for the xbox since i could never get all the software, (xdk, visual studio, etc...)
and it seems soon that xbox is coming to an end

well now i see that psp is coming too, and there are still so many things that can still be done to it

there are some things that i want to know

is the pspdev legal, could you actaully tell me where i can get this?

is there a tutorial on everything i need and how i can actaully

is it still the same basics, get the source code for a game, write it in "psp code" etc...

go read on forums.ps2dev.org.

DO NOT, however, post there, unless you are very explicit in your question, have read every thread 4 times, and are sure that it isn't covered yet, unless you want to suffer the wrath of the moderators.

To the best of my knowledge, all current released dev projects are legal. They use a scene-created SDK and libraries. When they start using Sony's SDK, that's when they'll be considered illegal. Much like the way it works with the Xbox with the official MS XDK and OpenXDK.

the main homebrew developers running ps2dev.org disallow any conversation regarding the leaked SDK.

I wish that had happened from day one with the xbox scene, the openxdk would be so much more robust and mature smile.gif.

do i need this

and all the tutorials on ps2dev are for ps2

there are only a couple of sample codes for the psp

is there a place that will tell me all the commands and all that stuff

i remember for xbox there were tutorials that told you how to change c/c++ etc.. into xbox language
commands like the xbox controller layout, and how to get the thing started and stuff like that

i'd appreciate all the help i can get, i'm really hoping i can get around to doing some homebrewn stuff for the psp beerchug.gif
