Well, here's what I did. took my mobo and psu out along with the sheillding because I needed to dremel some on the plastic below the sheilding. SO I got done and went to put everything back together. When I turned my box on, I saw a spark and smoke so I immediately unplugged it. So I looked down where the smoke came from. It was a trace that was all black. So I scraped off the black and soldered a bridge across the gap where it had burnt. I turned it back on and saw a spark reflect off of the side of the sheilding by the NIC. Oddly enough the it still booted normally.... Anyhow, I went to check it out and it was another broken trace, so I fixed it. Turned it on again, an no sparks!! UNTIL I bumped the edge of the sheilding, and boom it shuts off. I took the mobo out and looked at it. Apparently the first trace and the second trace that burn't wern't the same. BUT the third trace lead to the FIRST. So I bridged the end of the first to the end of the third, but now my box won't come on.
I'll have pics of the 2nd and 3rd tomorrow. Please temm me if this can be fixed, or if you can fix it for me I'll gladly pay. I've got a 120GB locked to this thing!
