Hey everyone, kind of new at this but have been reading up on it for a while so i wasnt sure where to put this, anyhoo, i have a toatlly unmodded box, never has been modded(software or hardware)i have taken the drive out a couple of times though but put it right back as i soon realized ghost...etc. could not read it but ive tried hotswapping a couple times, and can get the drive to detect but no write access to it.anyway, i put in Halo 1 after transfering a bunch of fils via music mixer and when it got to the screen where it says campaign.... it all of a sudden flashed an error code 21, so i rebooted, and this time it says error code number 7? anybody know what that is? thanks sorry if its in the wrong spot, ps im on a 1.6

You can be 99% sure your HDD has died.
There are claims of people who replaced the IDE cable to fix it, but personally I never had any succees. Your hdd might be damaged when hotswapping. * Check all connectors. If that doesn't help, and you obviously don't have an eeprom backup : * Get a chip * Get a new harddisk |
