Alright heres my prob, i got a Ver 1.3 xbox.. Did the soldering, Did the 007 AUG trick.. with Raincoat.. and i telnet it.. and get this error.. "Try adding the device ID to /etc/raincoat.conf" I was wondering if this error means the solder is bad.. or if i have to add something to the conf file? if so Will anyone help me out?

what type/brand of TSOP do you have and check your soldering anyway, just to be safe.

ok when you are in this forum look at the stickies, go to the one that says "TSOP tutorials collection" and click the link that says "What Brand TSOP Do I Have?" and scroll down to the "ST" section and where it says code and lists a bunch of numbers, offsets, and words. copy and paste them into you raincoat.conf. and i believe if you have raincoat 0.7 it should have it in there, so before you do that make shure that you have v0.7. hope that helps.

Why don't you try the AUF Gamesave where you simply load the gamesave and the video goes out for a min or so while it's flashing, instead of telnetin and doin all that... might work for you...

Cheers!
