Well so much for me saying the other day I didn't know when I'd get round to working on this again!

I found myself with some spare time today and mot much else to do so looked at some xbox stuff for the first time in about 2 months.

Anyway, the result is this - an update to my port of ScummVM. There's nothing major - it's still based on the same code as my earier WIP release - but I have added 1 or 2 requested features.

For more details see below.

Enjoy!

Carcharius

ScummVM 0.71 XBOX WIP Release
-----------------------------

Changes - 30/07/2005:

New:-
- screen resizing capability - hold Right-Trigger and click Right-Thumbstick.
- reload ScummVM launcher - hold Rightt-Trigger and press Black.
- reboot to dashboard - hold Right-Trigger and press White.

Changed:-
- removed optimizations for Simon The Sorceror engine. Fixes music issue.
Shouldn't affect performance too much if at all.

Probably changed other stuff in the time since the last release, but I can't
remember what that might be!

Thanks, I love the resize options..... but, what I think would be great, is a way to keep the aspect ratio when resizeing the screen, that way the picture doesn't look strectched or out of shape.

Whoops!

It seems a small bug slipped through - the virtual keyboard can't be used - DOH!

I've just fixed that and have replaced the xbe in the package.

So please re-download and try this modified version.

You are so awesome! Downloading now.

Thanks for the update. The only reason why I wasn't Using .71 was because of the screen resize!

There is a goof in the documentation:

Missing Monkeys
---------------

As I said - this isn't finished, there are things I wanted to do but haven't
yet gotten round to. There are also things that probably should be done but
as mentioned previously - I forgot where I got to!

Two of the things that I know aren't in there yet are:

* screen resizing  - just haven't gotten round to it.

It's not really a goof - more just me being lazy and sticking the details for the new release at the top of the old readme.

So, out of interest, how's it running for everybody?

As no one is shouting and screaming I'm guessing it must be doing a pretty fair job, with nothing major wrong with it.
