Are Controllers Region Specific?, Light gun not found in US stores Options

I want to get a light rifle for the Xbox(this one is compatible with PS2 as well, and not ugly either), but I cannot find it on any US websites. Most don't even ship to the U.S., but after dozens of websites I found one that does.

Before I ordered it though, I wanted to make sure that controllers and specifically that light guns are not region specific. Wouldn't want to buy it to find out in only works with PAL consoles, even though my box is modded.

I doubt it(that they are region specific) but if you want to be safe e-mail the place you are thinking about buying it from.

they aren't region-specific, however it's increasingly difficult to find toy guns that look cool, since cool generally translates to real. the trend over the past decade has been to make toy guns more an more toy-ish (whether it be by design or colr scheme - guncon2 orange for example)

I argee with Sho there are alot of "crazy" designs, I remember when I used to get a bad rap for buying a PS1 gun called a scorpion that thing was awsome and looked real. I wish MS would hire those people to make pne like that for Virtua Cop 3 or any other game they have used. If your looking for a great gun I would try the "Boss Battle" gun I like that for my House of the Dead 3, the sniper rifle is a bit touchy and off balence and ver conbersome.

Well, scratch that idea. The anus muffins won't send that specific item to the U.S. The only site that sends to the US and they won't send that item. Bullocks. Right now, I'm on their live help seeing if I can get it anyway. "All operators are currently assisting others. You are number 2 in the queue. Average wait time is 1 minute." I have now been waiting at the number 2 spot for 20 minutes. Number 1 must have a lot of issues that need resolving.

I wanted this one because it's compatible with PS2 and Xbox(since Xbox only has 3 games light gun compatible, might as well get more use out of it), it's a rifle, it doesn't look like like wet-pooter, laser sighting, and it's got recoil effect.

The Boss Battle one looks pretty sweet and has recoil, so I'll probably go with that one if I can't get something worked out. Find someone from the UK that will send it to me or what not. Even the UK ebay people don't send it to the US.

I might build a time-machine and go back to the Revolutionary War and ensure we stay part of the UK. But before I do that I'll compare the costs of building a time machine to plane ticket prices.

Edit: Ooh boy! I am number 1 in the queue now, and an average wait time of 30 seconds.

I hope the reason they can't send here isn't because it's too real looking. In America you can only have gun look real, if it is real.
