How much were you involved in the loaders released by WAB?
V1 and V2 I was significantly involved in, from there onwards I was essentially not involved at all.
Did it upset the other team members that Yoshihiro always wanted credit aside from the group?
I can't say we were too much upset; he was the one writing the code he took credit for after all.
Was Yoshihiro the only one that worked on the loaders, or did the entire team have a valid opinion before it was released. On what it would do and what would be included?
The team had an opinion on the loaders up until Yoshi began working with PsP-dev. We didn't care too much, we were very loose-knit to start with, and basically a group of coders who submitted what we did to Alone for release under the WAB name (and sometimes an intro from Alone)
In WABs readme's it always had mentioned V3, was there actually any real progress with ISO loading?
We attempted several ISO loading techniques, none of which worked too well. A lot of our work on "V3" involved Yoshihiro's autopatcher which was the basis of 2.5. Basically 2.5 is what we may have released as V3
Do you ever see V3 being released?
That is doubtful, there's not much progress to make after Fastloader, and seeing as how most of the team has disappeared...
The donations that were given towards WAB, who had access to those funds?
What were those funds used for? Did any other members of the team receive anything?
Not as far as I know.
Have you spoken to any of the WAB guys? If so about what?
Have spoken to Yoshihiro and SNK recently about various things, but nothing development-related.
Do your still consider WAB a team?
To tell the truth, no. Short of a miracle I don't see us getting back together, most of our members have lost contact.
What do you think the future of WAB is?
I can't say, the future of wab seems very uncertain at the moment.
What do you think caused WAB to fall apart?
A lack of contact, plain and simple.
Outside of WAB do you still consider AloneTrio, Yoshihiro, and the rest of the guys friends?
We never had contact outside of WAB. I don't know what to think about any of them at the moment.
Do you ever see your self working with any of the original WAB guys again on a different project?
It depends on the project and who it is
Are you working on anything now?
Not with WAB.
But in general, is there anything we should keep our eyes open for coming from you?
Possibly. I can say I am working on a project right now.
PsP-SPot staff and my self would like to thank bri3d for his time and insight of what’s going on behind the scenes. We wish him the best of luck as he continues to explore the PsP with his crew and look forward to all releases that he takes part in.
