I have installed the xenium ice into my 1.0 xbox using the pin header install method. when i put the box together, the light on the chip is solid red and the xbox boots up to the factory dash. Im not sure what the problem is. Did i not solder the pinheader in correctly? Any help would be appreciated.

I havent flashed anything i just installed the chip. I installed the same chip the same way a few weeks ago, and did not have to flash it or anything. Once i stated the xbox, it should go to the xenium os screen, but it just boots like a normal xbox would. I tried to go into the recovery switch, but it does the same thing. Im trying to figure out if the solder points are bad or if it is some other problem.

Either pin 2 on the lpc or the d0 is not soldered well. You can check with a multimeter.
