wow thax.... wow.... couldn't have said it better myself
heheheh just kidding man, but u lost me after ur first sentence....
ok, 360 on live will not require a better connection than the broadband you use now since the system will be able to handle a whole lot more, the connection just needs to send and recieve information, same as it always has... only thing i can see that will take up a more significant portion of the bandwidth would be physics calculations since there will be much more this next gen, but I'm not too worried about it since I've played PC games that have little to no lag on my connection. Better graphics dount equal a need for more bandwidth since you dont send any textures and whatnot in game to other xboxs....
hopefully my research hasn't failed me... if so, just throw me some

and I'll be fine....
ok, better graphics = more lag. try playing quake 1 on a modem(its totally playable i did it for years), then trying playing q3 on the same modem, not playable. why you ask? better graphics means more things on your screen, more things on your screen means more things on everyone elses screen. these all have to be synched up and calculated for so its the same for everyone which needs more bandwidth.
new games have destructable enviorments which need to be calcuated for which means bandwidth is used. a racing game that has many more AI cars needs bandwidth for, more people = more bandwidth etc. its not like your just taking the same old game and making it prettier with no downside, quake is the best example i can think of.
most people have very fast download speeds and no upload speeds which is why they lag out in games, doesnt matter if you have 10megs down if your stuck at 256k upload your gonna lag out.
