Todd said its not running on final hardware obviously and had a comment for the "murky graphics"..one that bodes well for those of us that have HDTV's

As far as the differences between the PC and Xbox 360 version ... well, there really aren't many. According to id CEO Todd Hollenshead, this was the first time that they've been able to use the exact same assets for both versions of a game, from the hi-res textures all the way down to the sound effects. He even said that some people feel the game looks a bit better on an HD television, although everything looked a bit washed out during the brief 360 demo. The game isn't running on the final hardware, either, and we're hoping that will fix some of the framerate slowdown that popped up from time to time. Still, there's no doubt that this will be one of the best early Xbox 360 titles.

Im assuming the tv they had on hand for the preview wasnt the greatest?

Wow, check out this gameplay movie. It's a couple days old, but it doesn't seem like anyone checked it out yet.

Ive got the SP video, I could have swore i posted it later on in that thread but all I saw was a Trailer. maybe thats it, but im not re-downloading it to find out.

gamespy had a huge write up on quakecon, hell I even downloaded a gigs worth of carmack interviews(waste of time, that man worries me sometimes)

I think I slipped and forgot to post the SP vid. for that I must out shame upon myself for letting down my fellow 360 brethren.

because of quake 4? Not that I dont respect that, but if your primarily a pc gamer, why not just get it for pc? or am I thinking of someone else.

I will most likely get it for xbox 360 since it will look much better.

I will keep my computer of course, for all those RTS games, which sadly don't seem to get any ports to consoles

(rome Total War for instance)
