Has anyone successfully fixed leisure suit larry to work b4??

I recently backed up a copy of Leisure Suit Larry to my xbox useing dvd2xbox.
When I try to load it I get the error message saying that the game must load off the original disc.

After a bit of searching I have managed to find and download the hdd fix for this game but I cant get it to work. The instructions say to replace the default.xbe file woth the new one, which I have done using flashfxp, but, now when I try to load the game, my xbox just re-sets...

Does anyone know how to get this game working??

Or, do I need to use a newer version of dvd2xbox to copy the game??? And if so can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I could download the latest version (v0.7.0) from???
