OK i have a xbox with executer 3 ce with 40 games in a 120 gig hdd and im gonna attempt to go live. IM gonna turn off the switch and uh lock the hardrive. Ima go to account recovery and get my original gamertag from my other xbox. If that go's well im going to live dangerously and get the new halo 2 mutltiplayer map content with the AU(autoupdates). i just wanna know if im missing anything cuz i dont wanna end up in banville.

when you say other xbox do you mean an entirely different xbox or your same xbox before you installed the HD? if your modded xbox has never been on Live you shoudl be ok, but admittedly i have not had a chance to confirm whether or not the latest H2 AU has any effect on large HDs even when conforming to marriage theory, ive heard peopel say it will get you banned, but then again it may just be the latest scapegoat for folks who dont follow basic marriage theory

entirely diff xbox . Which means this modded one has never been on live so i hope marriage theory works. IF not i'll be in banville sad.gif

I read his statement as he was going to illegally download the multiplayer maps and try to get on live, my bad. As long as your other box wasn't banned you're okay (and the modded box hasn't been on live).


I think the best thing to do is format/rebuild your C and E drives with the MS Dash from a slayer's disk before you get on. I copied/ftp'd the content from my stock hard drive that was on live and followed the marriage theory, but was banned. The HDD content is the only ambiguous key for me right now... sad.gif
