A few people have been asking me how to set up streaming lately, and i find it easier to just use Relax (xns protocal server) instead of setting up smd shares. so i made alittle tutorial to try and help them out. just thought i'd post it here. maybe it will help a few of you too:

not that crappy streaming protocol we only kept in so stuff that needs XNS can be supported (cant even recall what it was now)

People, you do NOT want to use XNS...

use SMB (preferred) or CCX but
NOT XNS

Whats so bad about using xns, i've been using it since it was released in the xbox media player days. never had a problem with it. i'd recommend it to anybody who wants to stream there music and videos.

1: We in the XBMC team wont support or give help with any problems you may/will encounter when using XNS to stream.

2: Relax is buggy like h*ll.

3: Relax isnīt updated and was never meant to work with XBMC

4: SMB is what we, the xbmc team, recommend for your streaming needs.

5: Use CCXStream or MFXStream if you find smb to tricky, but PLEASE stay away from XNS.
