Much like Xbox and Xbox 360, he sees a significant price increase between PS2 and PS3. Hamamura-san forsees the cheapest PS3 software being at least $70 USD (EUR 57 / YEN 7,800) while the most expensive would be around $79 USD (EUR 65 / YEN 8,800). Perhaps Kutaragi was right and we should all just suck it up and get second jobs.

Ok So if sony is going to have $70 titles does this mean MS might up the antie too? We know MS said $60 3rd party an $50 1st party games but will this move by sony possibly changeall of this? What about cross platform titles $60 on 360 and $70 on ps3?

I wouldn't even pay 60$ for another Sony game, personally. Xbox 360 has everything I need.

$60 is pushing it now.... so I wouldn't pay $70 yet warm me up with some great titles and then raise the price again.....










remember if don't sell at $60 they won't sell at $70 then they go on sale and I get them cheaper.... smile.gif
