ugh, im so sick of people asking this, its like asking "how many boxes fit in a truck"

well xbox games, much like boxes, come in all shapes and sizes, depending on what games you back up you might fit less than 100 you might fit 250-300, then you take into account mp3s, videos, dvds, emulators, and anything else you might put on the HD

just to give you an idea of game size, most games are 1.5-3.5 GB's, they vary in size. chances are, that IS quite big for an Xbox, unless you have ALOT of music you want on there, or you have ALOT of videos you want on there.

300 gig hard drive depends how big the game is........ the avarage game is 3gb so it could probably hold about 150+ games.

That is BS, unless his games are about on 300mb. I have a 120 gb HD and I can only hold 50 games.

thats exactly what im talking about, its entirely possible to fit 100 games on a 40 gig HD, its also possible to fill it up with 10 games, its pointless to ask how many gakmes you can fit on an HD becuase there is no good answer

Well, there are lots of small games (Namco Museum, Namco Museum 50th aniversary, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Metal Slug 3 etc.) (all between 250 and 500 Mb)

But I know and hate this question myself.

As lordvader already pointed out, it's a completely "unasnwerable" question. I get that asked always when I install bigger Harddrives.
