Xbox Version: v1.0
i bought an x3 control panel and it has slots for the IR mod, however, i have an extra universal remote laying around and i really dont feel like spending money on the xbox dvd kit. will the universal remote work with the x3 IR mod?

Hello,
I just got the Xbox dvd movie playback kit yesterday and would like to use it
with xbmc and dvd region x. Is there a setting I need to change in order to get the remote working? I really find it annoying playing a dvd in Dvd RegionX while using the game controller. Any advice will be appreciated!
