I bought an xbox from a guy who said it was "upgraded". He told me that it doesn't have a modchip so I assumed it was softmodded, which it was. But there's a problem. I believe he did something wrong because some of the files don't work and give me an error message. I also got an error message when I pushe the eject button to turn it on(error 21 I think). Anyway, my question is, is it a good idea to remove mxm and re-softmod it? I don't know if there is backup of the original dash or not, so any help on how to check would be good. Also, any help with how to remove it would be great.
