Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XS does so at their own risk and expense.

As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Scene is not a professional Sales service.. and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not ban people because you claim they ripped you off. Do NOT send the the "evidence" as we simply do not have the time, manpower, or will to follow through on your complaints. We have no intention of mediating any more disputes.

If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XS is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader ONCE. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XS forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. Do NOT contact staff complaining that a user has ripped you off. Do NOT make new threads in this or any other XS forum complaining about the "user" that ripped you off.

Xbox-Scene Does not recommend or endorse the use of the XS BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions, and you assume all risk. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional Sales forums.(many of which offer the services and customer protection you keep asking us for here on XS but will NOT get here!)

People who continue to ignore the clearly posted rules and post complaints all over the place despite moderators and staff closing and moving them.. expect two things to happen.. the person complaining (and not necessarily the accused) will have their account closed, and that BST will get closed altogether. XS has already dedicated too much time and human resources to maintaining this area of the site. If it continues to be a problem we will close it.

Also.. do not ASK for any expansion of the BST type forums as we have no intention of adding forums to this area, or to expand the services provided.

Feel free to LIST your XBOX or XBOX item for Buy, Sell or Trade. others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XS rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do, is start new thread, and offer NON xbox items. Period. No new threads with people offering non-XBOX stuff.

UPDATE:Getestore and Similar “store” / commissioned pre-made store type concepts – No Commission Based Sales. Period. This is pretty much a BST and BST360 specific rule. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. From now on, and new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XS, must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XS, or don’t bother posting at all on our site. To be perfectly blunt, XS is not here for you to make money. XS sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or post on XS, must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread, and possibly the account. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.

UPDATE JAN 2007: Do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them and make a ban req on your account. when making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something.. go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service. DO NOT MAKE NEW THREADS ASKING WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR $5 bucks etc.

Do Not Offer to Buy, Sell, or Trade GameFly Subscriptions. Members can get their own subscriptions.

UPDATE: XS will not DELETE threads on demand. Even in light of the Raids on US shops. You can request it be removed/made invisible, however, we will keep it open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits though of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file. Note, deleting or removing your thread at this point is too little, too late. the authorities have that info already, and worse, every search engine and spider crawler on the net has it archived.

Now, I highly suggest that you upgrade the HD to a larger one. X-S Enthusiast Group: Members Posts: 0 Joined: 8-September 05 From: England Member No.: 245129 Xbox Version: unk	realmccloy yea i am intrested very. if you could doo me the samsung 200g HD and professionally add led all the round the xbox (sockets,control pad, xbox circle etc) and all the switchs in-built professionally to turn the mod chip on & off and switch between BIOS. also could you add 2 usb ports at the bottom right of xbox & some games for the xbox and emulated games for the emulaters. maybe also region free so i can play us games and jap etc.. i heard tho if you change the HD but not the eeprom then live wont work ether and some1 said that it wasn't recommended changeing the eeprom but then i heard you need to lock you HD and eeprom first b4 you go on live with a modded xbox. But i can't stress hard enuff that the xbox must be allowed to go on xbox live (specially for Halo 2) (not botherd about matchmaking but only custom games) and as you can proberly guess i am a newbie to all this mod stuff but i no stuff what the mods can do but just don't no how to do um! was hoping if you could teach me all about it and how to do it. how does $500 tickle your fancy?? must include shipping to uk tho (must be with signiture or some sort of tracking security service). like if you help me i will help you. X-S Messiah Group: Head Moderator Posts: 3766 Joined: 4-November 04 From: USA Member No.: 163327 Xbox Version: none 360 version: v5.0 (360S - trinity)	i could do you an xbox for about $450 USD shipped or so with the following that meets all expectations you want: new never used xbox that has never been on live as a note you only have to change the eeprom if the xbox has been on live with the harddrive thats in it, since its never seen live, you wouldnt need a new HDD. new 200GB Western Digital HDD, 160 GB HDD would probally drop the price $20-$30 X3 CE modchip X3 control panel with LCD screen, USB, switches to change bios, and to turn the modchip off for xbox live you simply hold the power button in for 5 seconds. LEDs in controller ports and change the eject Button ring LED to color of choice. All apps and dashes will be preloaded and emulators. System will play all region games. I could do this all for you all I would need is payment first before I do this because I dont want backing out of the deal and being stuck with an xbox. Let me know if interested.
