Installed an Aladdin XT Pro into a 1.2 Xbox. Everything worked fined except couldn't flash it using Slayer's 2.6. Eventually got hold of SpiderchipUpdateCD and it worked fine.
Can Slayer's be modified to work?

Yes. Edit the evox.ini file and add this line

Flash = 0xbf52,"SST 49LF020A",0x40000

Just after all the other Flash= lines.

However once flashed you should be set.
