I just got 2 Bright Blue LED 5mm 5.0v 20mA 1000 mcd

I want to put these 2 leds in front where the circle is besides the size will these do the job?

That depends upon the minimum voltage required to get the LEDs to operate. The original LEDs are about 2v and the circuit is designed to have that much. They should work OK. The ones I originally used, before making the chaser, were 3.9v blue LEDs.
