I am running evox and when I try to play Pirates from the HD, the screen goes blank as soon as the initial story is over and I get my ship. Any help?

What app did you use to transfer and does the game play ok from the original disc in the DVD drive

I used dvd2xbox app to copy and foolishly did not try the game from the original disc.

I would try the original disc and see if the same thing occurs.
The latest DVD2XBOX should be fine for transferring a game to the hDD

Anyhow, I have a game that did that under evox (it's Hunter: the reckoning), but it worked fine from under another dash, it's really odd and I've never fathomed it out.
Hunter, never shows up with the correct game image under xbmc either, (but runs fine from it as a dash), it shows up and works correctly under unleashx. The pic thing did strike me that it may have something to do with the way the game cache's itself. So it may be worth trying launching another dash as an app, and then pirates from that.

May not work, but it's easy to try, and may just give you a result.
