Ok 2 questions.

1. Does my hdd have to be locked to use xbox live?
2. Config magic wont lock my hdd, is there any other way to lock it, or is this hdd unable to be locked.

2. Try other locking progs like evox (you have to edit the .ini)....though I have never seen another prog lock a hdd that configmagic cannot lock.

In order to go on live, you must be running the retail kernel.

In order to boot a retail kernel, the drive must be locked.

Therefore the drive must, obviously, be locked in order to go on live.

Been answered tons of times....
