Well, I bought this drive a while ago and its always had little problems, but I was too lazy to look into it.. I heard 616-T was supposed to play anything. Anyways, when I close the dvd drive, the main screen freezes for a couple seconds untill the disk is loaded.. Is this normal? It doesnt do this with any other dvd drives I have. With a good amount of my burnt dvd's whether its xbox or anything else, it seems to have a hard time trying to read it. It reads CD's very well. Even some of my non burnt DVD's have trouble playing on it. Some of my non-scratched brand new DVD's will freeze during some parts, where on any other dvd player it works fine. The laser might be dirty, but im a bit afraid to open the drive and try to clean it. Last time I opened my DVD drive, it was a phillips. I opened it, didnt do anything, and it didnt work again after that. Anyone have any ideas to my problem with the samsung?
