Finally got evox to load and I am now able to FTP to the XBox. As one of the tutorials suggested I have created the games folder and apps folder under the E: Drive. Modified the ini file with

Section "Games"
{
Line "- Auto Items -",2
SortStart
AutoAddItem "e:games"
AutoAddItem "f:games"
SortEnd
# SortAll
}
Section "Apps"
{
Line "- Auto Items -",2
SortStart
AutoAddItem "e:apps"
AutoAddItem "f:apps"
SortEnd
}
}
I was under the impression I would get a listing of any folders under the E: appsxcommanderxcommander.xbe. Do you have to modify the ini file further or do you have to put the xbe file under the apps folder and not in the xcommander folder?

The same would apply to games that were backed up to the xbox hard drive. If you put the games into a separate folder under each game what do you have to do to have the launch menu recognize them? ie. E:/games/ splintercell <splintercell files> and E:/games/ halo/ <halo files>

What am I doing wrong. I have looked for tutorial and have not found what I need to make it work?

Do I need to modify the ini file every time I add an application?

Thanks

is it named default.xbe or xcommander.xbe , if is xcommander.xbe change it to default.xbe
with that ini everything you add should show up on evox menu automatically.
