Problem With Choppy Video Streaming From Pc, After upgrading to nw build (built?) Options

I have noticed I get a choppy video that I stream from my PC after upgrading to the new build. I noticed it first after upgrading it in August (August build) but just thought it was something to do with a computer hickup, etc. but just cannot figure it up.
Symptoms:
The video loads longer then usual and then while playing I can see it loading in chunks (I have X3 so I can see yellow LED flicker and video plays then it goes dead and video stops playing for a moment then it flickers again and it plays and on and on and on)
Things I've tried:
1.Removed traces of my old XBMC (including E:\TDATA\0face008 and E:\UDATA\0face008 folders.
2. Tweaked my XP PC network switch to 100 Full duplex
3. Switched a new network cable to see if it might gone bad... same symptoms
4. Switched Player OSD to NO Cache... same symptoms
5. Switched System settings in XBMC from maximum caching to 0 caching for media playing... same symptoms

It almost seems like there is a bottle neck and the packets are streemed and then they cannot be processed and the xbox waits for them to be pocessed.
I have a front display on the xbox and it says I gave 28 megs of memory anyway.

Help please. I used to watch all sorts of movies with previous builds and enjoyed this feature very much. I can listen to mp3's and watch slides across the network without any problems, can go and fetch internet scripts, etc very fast and then the yellow led just blazes all the time. It seems to just hesitate during my videos.

including
resolution
codec (wmv9, xvid, etc)
container (avi, ogm etc)

Now, I can play them all fine as long as they reside on Xbox's hard drive. The have problems only with choppy video when streaming across network, but I get RSS feeds fine, MP3's fine, slide's, file transfers fine, etc across the network. Just video streams. And just a few weeks ago it works seamlessly. I chescked and rechecked my network settings. Went from Default dashoard settings to Static IP, where I have more control. Went through new xboxmediacenter.xml and just added my smb critical stuff (username, ip addressess, etc. No problem with accessing shares, just with the speed or rather with getting chunks then stopping for a moment and then accessing again. And the initial loading of files takes longer. I think that my initial loading of MP3's take's a bit longer, too., if it helps, but no problem playing them

what kind of throughput can you get via ftp? (speed)

Ok, now, as we speak I tried to upload iso file using Qwix and I get about 6000 kb/s avarage. Started actually higher, but went down when I started to type this message.
With FlashFXP I just transferred a 345MB avi file to an Xbox HD with about 8708 kb/s.

Hope this gives you some idea. I'm doing it sitting at the PC, of course

i'm having the exact same problem...

I figured it out.
It's the xbox live that screwed up my x3 bios.
While playing conker it updated my xbox and the protect on the x3 was set to off and it updated the bios.
On the surface everything seemed to work fine. I still was able to play games, music, etc. but network took a major hit, especially xlink-kai, was not available and video streaming was slow and smb shares were slower.
It also wiped out my flashbios. X3 seemed to exist but was slightly crippled.
I uploaded new bios onto the remainig banks 5678, see my posts on the xecuter forums and the xbox and xbmc started to behave beautifully!!!
Full functionality again
I haven't flashed flashbios 3.03 again, since I don't need it with a network working, but will do it to make it 100% functional in case something happens to the network

Hope I'm making sense.

Now my x3 is alway riding with the little protect switch in the ON position.

To add insult to injury I don't have an xbox live account!!!

My son went to xbox live from Conker menu as it was available on the main screen and booom it updated the xbox on the spot!!!
