Instruction manuals/guides etc for modchips: MODCHIP GUIDES. Need to figure out what version XBOX you have? XBOX VERSIONS GUIDES. Some Software and files we host: TOOLS and SOFTWARE Still can't find the answer? Check the PINNED TOPICS in the relevant forum. When all else fails.. use XS SEARCH. can you softmod an xbox so you can see the game files and edit them temporarly? in fable i saw a site once where the guy changed a file so the sword of aeons was on a picknic table. also can you plug an xbox hard drive into a computer and edit files or play games off the computer?

I would like to learn how to edit these files, i also need the programs to softmod my xbox

For question number one: See the Game Hacking forums for ideas/help.

For question number two: See the No-Modchip Hacks (Exploits) forum.

A decent amount of reading of the pinned topics and guides in those forums will give you a good start. Also note the pinned Softmod topic at the top of this forum.

(And, no, the Xbox HDD file system is not compatible with a Windows PC as it were, so you won't be editing HDD files by hooking it up to your PC).

Please read the Newbie Welcome Guide in this forum, in full, before proceeding.

wow, your going from non-modded xbox straight to hacking games.. And don't even have the files to softmod.. good luck with that.

do a search for softmodding.. or click the link in my sig, it will point you in the right direction.
