I actually made a bootable ISO for a CD version, if there is a demand for it then I will place it on a server for download.

ok problem.
I got hold of a fd (wow did I have to search long for that.)

When I boot and the initial bios screen shows it finds the drive, but asks for the PW! Since I dont have it it locks up the system.... WTF? ??! Im so disapointed.. Am I the only one with this problem ?


MB: Abit sr7 8x.

Something is not correct, it should not be asking for a password, it is not to access the drive, sounds like you have the IDE-0 booting first then it is jumping to boot a:.

I just woke up so give me time to get it loaded up and I will post the link, it's small and once compressed, it very tiny. (I had it one one of my servers but the darn thing crashed... so much for supporting locally sad.gif so I'll place it on another)

Ive found a way to fix this now. I have a unlocked st310014ace and a locked st3102A11 (or whatever). I booted with the unlocked drive, hotswaped em, and the flash tool recognized it as the correct disk biggrin.gif joy joy joy , its all working now.

Sorry but are you saying that you used this to unlock a ST310014ACE or you just booted with an unlocked one then unlocked the ST310211A?

sorry for the mixup. I only unlocked the ST310211A . The other was unlocked with my xbox. But I got past the BIOS password check (wouldnt even let me boot without password)..
