I have installed many x-bit's but this first time I've seen this problem. when I turn on the xbox the LED on the switch flashes on and off so I thought it might have a bad connection so I repostioned but still does the same thing so I though it might be a bad bios so when I tried to reflash it. the chip would give me an GET_STATUS error while trying to connect. I have a V1.4 xbox and it worked fine for the last 5months; I think the chip is dead; has anyone seen this before?

My bad people; I'm such a n00b - I should have done a GET_STATUS error search before making this post (I guess I was just frustrated) but I found others who had the same problem so when I get home I'm going to try flashing the chip outside of the xbox that might work.
If not I'll be back

Thanx
